One of the most prominent service and support conferences in the country, Field Service 2011 will feature approximately 300 service and support professionals from more than 15 industries. Attendees will discuss topics ranging from transitioning B2C skills to the B2B realm to the emergence of new technologies in service and the effects they’ll have on the service industry.
Here’s a preview of what to expect from the show:
- On Day 1, reps from AT&T and Hologic will draw from real-world customer case stories to discuss how the next generation of devices and other technologies will push the envelope in field service innovation.
- To kickoff Day 2, Trane‘s president of global services will discuss how field service businesses can change their thinking from purely product/equipment-centric to a culture of service.
- The third day of the conference will focus on the rapid pace of change in one particular industry: medical devices. Executives from GE, Medrad and other medical device manufacturers will discuss CRM integration, remote service, workflow & inventory integration and corporate service case studies.
